Our CEO Grig Richters and Producer Alex Souabni (51 Degrees North) first met Stephen Sutton in 2013 during the rehearsals for the Opening Ceremony of the UEFA Champions League Finals.
Stephen was already diagnosed with cancer and was raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Stephen Sutton was one of over 600 artists participating in the UEFA Champions League ceremony which we co-produced with the media company The Department.
After hearing about his incredible story we began producing a documentary about his life, managed his social media, his website (wich we are still hosting) and press enquiries.
We helped Stephen create the Stephen’s Story Hashtag campaign which became one of the most viral campaigns of 2014.
Our CEO Grig Richters unveiled some of the footage we had filmed with Stephen Sutton, days after his death on Good Morning Britain on ITV.
The campaign raised over $7 Million to date. He died in May 2014.
